How to 101 : Chocolate Chips Cookies

Hi guys ! I shall let my 1st 2012 post (excluding the New Year wishing post) under the category of How To 101. :) Since Chinese New Year is really REALLY around the corner, we need cookies to be prepared to serve our friends and relatives when they are visiting us. So, today, I'll show you guys, how to make chocolate chips cookies ! Just like the one from Famous Amos. :D

Ingredients :

  1.  2 eggs
  2. 320g of butter
  3. 345g of all purpose flour
  4. 185g of brown sugar
  5. 95g of cocoa powder
  6. 85g of almond powder (or you can buy those almond nuts and grind yourself :) )
  7. 58g of chocolates chips (more is good ! )

Steps :

1. Sift cocoa powder and flour

2. Beat butter and sugar until creamy

3. Add in eggs one by one.

4. Add in cocoa powder and flour. Beat on slow speed until all mixed well. Chocolate chips and almond powder.

5. Baked the cookies for 15 minute under 170 degree Celsius.

6. This step is not necessary, but I added a few chocolate chips on top of the batter to make it look nicer and tastier. :D

Sorry, shitty iPod camera.

Here, a better one. :)

Surprisingly, this cookies doesn't taste super sweet as I expected, and taste more like DARK chocolate chips cookies. Which, my family and I love it very much. Lastly, I hope you find this cookies easy and fun to make. Enjoy !

Cheers !
