Hey guys! I'm off again, this time I'll be in my kampung taking my driving test
The test haven't confirmed yet though
If not approved, I have to wait until next June to take
I don't want to wait again! I hope everything goes smoothly and fine
*cross my finger tight tight*
*
Chiang Mai is the 2nd largest city in Thailand
And I realised that
- Most public transport, like shutter bus and taxi are all manual car
- All the motorbike I saw they have this tiny little basket in front of the bike to put their belonging instead at the back of the bike like Malaysian do
- Girl prefer Scooter than car, like seriously!
*
Woke up early in the morning, 3am, I slept for like 2 hours?
I couldn't sleep! Too excited. XD
Waiting for boarding. Need no further explain how early we are
The photo have the time line
5 something! I look like I got not enough of beauty sleep
Thats my uncle's family (dad side)
Reach Chiang Mai International Airport around 9 something (Malaysia time)
I look like I'm a busy business women
=p
Er, that's my hamster face
^^
Please stop growing can, bro?
Cables are all tangled up! No short circuit happen in Thailand one meh?
Hai! Victoria and I
- Jie jie Lily! You know what my name means or not?
- No, what it means then?
- Victoria is a name of a queen
Yeah, the British Queen long long time ago
After we settle down in the hotel room for a couple of hours
we went for food hunting!
We had Burger King, and they have pork as burger!
Malaysia don't have
=(
Then our tour guide came and brought us around
1st stop : Opium Farm
The Opium plant
Cheese!
The Opium flower
Can you see the round round thing my uncle holding?
That's Opium bud
They pluck it out and burn it, then some gluey glue thing will come out
that's Opium (Poppy or Ganja in Malay)
Then they mix with some chemical to make Heroin
Long long time ago, this village is dependent on Opium business
But nowadays, the government band Opium planting
Hence this village lost their main income, and become very poor
2nd stop : Wat Doi Suthep
This temple is on top of a mountain
you can see the whole Chiang Mai city from here!
Holy Holy Water
Wah, I love this picture wei!
Our smile are like super wide and we have white teeth!
XD
We have to climb up 306 of stairs to reach the temple
Batu Caves also not high enough
But Batu Caves' stairs are like almost 70 degree one
Wat Doi Suthep's stairs are easier to climb
3rd stop : The Royal Floral Garden
You can see lots and lots of flowers from different country here
From Belgium to Malaysia to India to China to every country you can name
Advice : Pollen allergic people, please don't go
Remember the red flower?
Neh, the one we take out the flower's stalk
then lick the end of the stalk which contain honey
Super sweet one!
Red Flower Sea !!!
Is this Orchid? I forgot =(
Two tone colour one! Nice or not!
I finally know what is the name of this type of flower!
My favourite flower of all time!
Is pink daisy!!
I took this 'cause is pink
=p
My second favourite flower of all time!
Lilies! Why?
'cause my name is Lily, and Lilies have huge petal and nice smell
I used to receive a white lily back when I'm 14
<3
I want to have a daisy plus lilies theme wedding
Unless, my future husband is pollen allergic
==
Need not to tell you want is that right?
=)
Dinner : ORIGINAL THAI FOOD
Cheers!
